Carte blanche from the city of Bordeaux to 1000M2 Artist-Run Space for this exhibition where residents of 1000M2 workshops and invited artists, from urban and contemporary artistic scene in Bordeaux, set up their practices in the nave of Saint-Rémi and give a view of an extract, a sneak peek, taken from their workshops, of their artistic approaches under consideration.
Here, in Saint-Rémi, 1000M2 Artist-Run Space offers “Disegno: Modes opératoires” and shows art that comes to life in the workshop. In echo to the historical and singular dimension of this deconsecrated church, the artists seize on this notion of intention and think the exhibition venue into spaces of in situ expressions, transposing their universes and their current artistic reflections in an original production that is both an image of the present and a prefiguration of the evolution of their future approaches.
